Lent is an opportune time to check in with God and Ourselves. Don has shared some new and some familiar resources that are available on the front pew, and here. It is never too late to do something.

Self-Examination by John Wesley, 1738.
Wesley thought that this helped measure one’s spiritual state.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
2 Corinthianans 6:17-18
The Five Requirements
- Our judgements are new – our judgement of ourselves, happiness and holiness are new
- Our designs are new
- Our desires are new
- Our conversation is new
- Our actions are new
Are you a new creation? Reflect over these areas and where you were 5 years ago, 1 year ago, 1 month ago.

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
