Emmanuel Parishioners, Friends, Neighbors and Visitors!
There are many needed repairs to maintain the integrity of our Historic Landmark building and present a welcoming appearance. A number of repairs have been neglected for lack of funds. The Ladies of Emmanuel have gotten together and made it our mission to do some fund-raising in the community and apply for grants to be better stewards of our beautiful church and put these repairs behind us.
We began by bringing back the spring plant sale with a new face as the Spring Plant Café, with some Bedding Plants, Herbs, Vegetables and other plants — many in coffee cups. We held another Fall Plant Café in October for House Plants and Perennials. We were pleased with the results and we Thank God for the ~$1300 we made toward the repair projects!
We want to thank everyone for their donations of plants and/or money, participation, prayers, and for spreading the word! You are all appreciated very much! ❤ ❤ ❤
Our next event is the upcoming Holiday Bakery Café –Saturday, November 19, 10 am – 4 pm. breads, cookies, pies, cakes and other goodies that you can freeze for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
