Living Compass Devotionals for the Advent Season are available on the back pew of the Sanctuary. This year’s topic is GENEROSITY. These short daily reflections begin the first day of Advent and continue through Christmas Day. At Emmanuel, we have been using the Living Compass materials for several years now for Advent and Lent as they are very popular.
In Practicing generosity with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind, we are reminded that God is worthy of ALL of ourselves. This is a high and holy calling on each of our lives that is impossible without God’s help, as well as our faith community. Even so, we can never say we have conquered the honor of loving God! The best we can do is keep practicing!
