KEEPING LENT

Lots of ideas, disciplines, helps and also creative projects for kids during Lent can be found under the Lent tab in the menu bar.

PRAY – FAST – GIVE

Sometimes we get the wrong idea about Lenten praying, fasting and giving. The road less traveled is harder but more rewarding.

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? ”      Isaiah 58:6

Lord, teach each of us how this looks in our lives in today’s world. How can we keep the fast that you desire? Lord, what would you have us do?
